RAY’S STORY – THE MISSION
BEHIND RAY’S HOUSE

Ray’s House is more than the name of a men’s sober living home in Conroe, TX. It was created to honor Ray Martinez and continue a mission deeply connected to his own life and experience with addiction.

Ray was an avid outdoorsman, an athlete, a brother, a son, and a father. He was also someone who understood the disease of addiction personally.

That experience became part of his desire to help others who were fighting similar battles.

Ray devoted his heart to helping people affected by addiction. He transported struggling adolescents to treatment and managed a recovery home, providing practical support when people needed someone willing to stand beside them.

His goal was to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor so he could continue helping people professionally.

Ray’s House carries his name so that his commitment to helping others can continue. Every resident is more than the disease of addiction, and recovery is about rebuilding a meaningful life with dignity, accountability, connection, and hope.
